Area I use to draw my pencilcolors

My Pencil Nook and Club Chair

Here is where I work on my pencilcolors. I usually use a 10″ x 8″, a 12″ x 10″, or a 12″ x 16″ canvasboard. The nook has a variety of pencils, a can holding the toothbrushes-two sizes for each color, a small pencil sharpener, an eraser, a can -hidden-to hold the sharpener flakes, and my club chair that I got from my grandmother.

I collect different brands of colored pencils. I buy the 12 count to test the colors and to see how the colors work on the canvasboard. I seldom use the black and the brown pencils. The brushes help get the color into the texture of the canvasboard. I like the bright colors. I buy pencils wherever I find them. I have not gotten pencils that cost more than $10. I will try more expensive pencil brands that are available online.

I like to work in my easy chair. Sometimes I watch/listen to a DVD movie, a TV show, or a CD sermon. I usually work 2 hours at at a time. Then I get up and walk 5-10 minutes. It takes me about 2-5 days to complete a pencilcolor.
